Commercial Lines Agent
Job Summary
Seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Agent to join a growing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative office environment with a focus on building strong client relationships and driving new business. The ideal candidate will be sales-driven possess a Property & Casualty (P&C) license and have a passion for providing exceptional service to clients.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $60000 per year
- Commission: 50% on new business plus revenue share on personal lines
- Remote Work: Available for candidates in the DC or Baltimore metro area
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients focusing on restaurants contractors gas stations and other general accounts.
- Generate new business through cold calling networking and other sales strategies.
- Quote and manage both new and renewal business.
- Utilize Hawksoft software to manage client accounts and streamline processes.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with a small dynamic team to achieve agency growth goals.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record in sales and business development.
- Proficiency in quoting cold calling and generating new business.
- Familiarity with Hawksoft software is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated goal-oriented and eager to contribute to the growth of the agency.
