Job Summary

Qualifications
Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy preferably from a COAMFTE accredited institution. Licensed to practice Marriage and Family Therapy with the intention of obtaining a NYS license. Clinical Membership in the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists ( AAMFT ). Approved supervisor status preferred. Evidence of teaching experience (co-teaching and doctoral teaching internships are acceptable). Evidence of experience as a counseling practitioner in mental health settings (doctoral internships are acceptable). Notable achievement of publications and professional presentations and a readiness to develop research and training grant proposals. Proficiency in the use of technology in the delivery of education and an eagerness to use multiple technologies to teach and communicate with students. A broad knowledge base of the MFT field and experience with integrating family systems theory with clinical practice.
