Technician

Job Description:

Aircraft Technicians are responsible for inspecting diagnosing and repairing aircraft structural systems. They also help maintain hydraulic and mechanical systems identify repair methods and schedule routine updates.

Operational activities
in running the day-to-day operations and ensuring there is effective use of resources to achieve all the targets set
and overseeing routine maintenance checks.
and adhering to strict safety guidelines.
hand tools diagnostic tests and gauges to identify hydraulic and mechanical malfunctions.
with engineers and system mechanics to ensure that all aircraft systems are running correctly.
diagnostics reports and suggesting repair solutions based on thorough evaluations.
that all aircraft parts are accurately labelled organized and restored.
regular maintenance on aircraft.
proper working conditions of mechanical systems before flight.
and maintains records of maintenance repairs inspections and any reports related to parts or services.
and examines engines wings propellers tails and other parts to identify cracks corrosion or other defects.
hoses and lubricates joints; replaces any that show signs of needing repair.
maintenance manuals and specifications to identify correct operations and specifications for replacements or repairs.
new parts to replace or repair defective or recalled parts or to enhance the performance of the aircraft; performs these tasks efficiently and to specifications.
proper function of engines and operating systems via a variety of tests and tools.
and resolves mechanical problems based on visual inspections or reports from pilot or crew.
other related duties as assigned.

Qualification

: Junior college or equivalent required.
: 5 years in aircraft maintenance or above
Skills:
Basic read and written English
Standard practice of mechanical
:
CAAC Part 66 ME-TA licence or equivalent
Skills:
5.1Thorough understanding of aircraft parts systems and mechanics.
5.2Thorough understanding of tools and testing methods used to ensure proper functioning of an aircraft and its parts systems and mechanics.
5.3Ability to read comprehend and adhere to manual instructions to resolve complex mechanical issues.
5.4Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software used to complete and maintain records.
5.5Detail-oriented with mechanical inclination.
5.6Superior and careful workmanship.
5.7Ability to perform consistently under stressful conditions.
5.8Ability to perform basic inspections and repairs.
5.9Ability to learn new skills and methods of repairs.
5.10Sufficient oral and verbal communication skills as needed to discuss equipment malfunctions and complete reports.
