What Youll Need

Essential:

Level 3 Residential Childcare (or equivalent) willingness to complete Level 5.
Experience as a Deputy or Registered Manager in childrens residential care.
Strong understanding of safeguarding regulations and compliance.
Proven leadership and communication skills.
Knowledge of trauma-informed or therapeutic models.

Desirable:

Level 5 Leadership & Management.
Experience opening or registering a new childrens home.

What Youll Do

Register and manage the new childrens home in line with Ofsted and regulations.
Recruit lead and develop the staff team.
Maintain high-quality safeguarding behaviour support and compliance.
Oversee records audits inspections and care planning.
Manage budgets rotas and operational systems.
Build strong links with local authorities and external partners.
