What Youll Need
Essential:
- Level 3 Residential Childcare (or equivalent) willingness to complete Level 5.
- Experience as a Deputy or Registered Manager in childrens residential care.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding regulations and compliance.
- Proven leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed or therapeutic models.
Desirable:
- Level 5 Leadership & Management.
- Experience opening or registering a new childrens home.
What Youll Do
- Register and manage the new childrens home in line with Ofsted and regulations.
- Recruit lead and develop the staff team.
- Maintain high-quality safeguarding behaviour support and compliance.
- Oversee records audits inspections and care planning.
- Manage budgets rotas and operational systems.
- Build strong links with local authorities and external partners.
