La Posada Hotel is on the lookout for a fun energetic Bartender who can turn every drink into an art form! Whether youre shaking up a classic or crafting something new we want someone who can bring their creativity personality and love for mixology to our bar. Where you can make an impact:
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with guest requests and standard recipes.
- Provide prompt friendly service ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area including restocking beverages cleaning glassware and organizing supplies.
- Accurately process guest orders and payments ensuring correct handling of cash and credit transactions.
- Check identification of guests to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of bar areas for events or shifts.
- Keep up to date on beverage menus promotions and new drink trends.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations related to food handling sanitation and alcohol service.
- Resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly ensuring a positive customer experience.
Requirements
Education/Formal Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality management preferred.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role preferred.
- Familiarity with property management systems is a plus.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for providing outstanding service.
- Ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.
- Basic computer proficiency including MS Office and reservation software.
- Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to travel to The Springs Resort & Spa.
