What Were Looking For:
Were hiring a full-time Permanency Case Manager to work with our communitys most vulnerable children and families. Youll need an accredited Bachelors Degree and a Valid Drivers License. We offer a 13-week comprehensive training program including field experience in-office learning and classroom training with a mentor to guide you.
A Day in the Life as a Permanency Case Manager:
As a Permanency Case Manager youll support families in foster care aiming to achieve permanency for children in the Managing Conservatorship of DFPS. Youll collaborate with biological parents helping them access services to reunify with their children. If reunification isnt possible youll work to find a safe permanent family-like setting for the children. Your role includes conducting home visits attending court hearings and working with community stakeholders CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) and more to build lasting partnerships with families.
