CONTEXTO ORGANIZACIONAL

Estos puestos han de cubrirse en las oficinas de zona y las oficinas sobre el terreno. Los titulares del puesto rinden cuentas a la Asociada de Administración y manejan principalmente vehículos 4x4 pero podría requerirse además la conducción de vehículos livianos camiones camionetas o cualquier otro tipo de medio de transporte terrestre. El trabajo puede conllevar la prestación de asistencia administrativa básica en la oficina o el almacén.

PROPÓSITO DEL PUESTO

Proporcionar servicios de transporte de personal autorizado y/o mercancías de forma eficiente y segura.

RESPONSABILIDADES CLAVE

• Proporcionar servicios de conducción y transporte de personal autorizado y/o entregar y retirar artículos/productos diversos siguiendo el itinerario autorizado y respetando las normas y reglamentos de seguridad de las Naciones Unidas para garantizar un servicio seguro y eficiente.

• Recibir a personal oficial y visitantes en el aeropuerto local u otros puntos de llegada para facilitar una llegada y un ingreso al destino autorizado sin contratiempos y en condiciones de seguridad.

• Ocuparse de mantener cuidadosamente el registro del vehículo y de informar diariamente a su supervisor sobre las condiciones mecánicas del mismo para garantizar un uso del vehículo y un consumo de combustible eficientes contribuyendo a una contabilización precisa y a la eficiencia en función de los costos.

• Encargarse de mantener el vehículo asignado y todo el equipo conexo limpios y en buen estado de llevar a cabo las tareas de mantenimiento puntualmente de que el vehículo vaya completamente equipado con las autorizaciones de viaje y los suministros necesarios y de que cualquier problema mecánico se comunique al supervisor para garantizar un servicio seguro y eficiente.

• Seguir las normas y reglamentos establecidos para las entregas sobre el terreno y/o en caso de accidente y dar parte inmediatamente al supervisor de cualquier problema manifiesto para solicitar instrucciones y facilitar la toma de decisiones informadas sobre cómo proceder.

• Aparte de la labor como conductor realizar tareas básicas relacionadas con la oficina como archivar fotocopiar y mantener en orden los almacenes según corresponda incluida la entrega o retirada de artículos diversos el servicio de correos y el pago del recibo del teléfono y otras facturas de la oficina para proporcionar apoyo administrativo a los clientes.

CUALIFICACIONES ACADÉMICAS ESTÁNDAR MÍNIMAS:

Formación:

Finalización del ciclo de educación secundaria. Formación oficial como chofer y licencia o certificado válido para conducir el vehículo asignado aplicando las normas y reglamentos locales.

Experiencia:

Dos años como mínimo de experiencia laboral como chofer preferentemente en un organismo internacional una embajada o el sistema de las Naciones Unidas con un historial de conducción en condiciones de seguridad demostrado. Experiencia en la conducción de diversas marcas y modelos de vehículo incluidas camionetas camiones y otro tipo de vehículos de motor. Se valorará la experiencia en conducción defensiva.

Conocimientos y competencias:

• Conocimiento de las normas y reglamentos de conducción del protocolo y el trato de cortesía propios de un chofer de las carreteras y vías fluviales locales y de su estado y de los problemas relacionados con la seguridad.

• Conocimiento de la capacidad de carga y otros parámetros del vehículo.

• Conocimiento de las normas y reglamentos de conducción de vehículos/embarcaciones según corresponda.

• Conocimiento de las normas y el equipo de seguridad (p. ej. extintores de incendios dispositivos de seguridad portátiles flotantes etc.).

• Capacidad para leer e interpretar documentos tales como normas de seguridad instrucciones de funcionamiento y mantenimiento y manuales de procedimientos.

• Habilidades básicas para prestar asistencia en caso de emergencia conocimiento de los métodos básicos de primeros auxilios.

• Conocimientos y capacidad para utilizar aparatos de radio correo electrónico teléfono y otros dispositivos.

• Capacidad para valorar la idoneidad mecánica de un vehículo y conocimientos técnicos para realizar pequeñas reparaciones.

• Capacidad para aplicar un enfoque orientado al cliente alto sentido de responsabilidad cortesía y tacto.

Idiomas:

Dominio hablado y escrito del español. Deseable nivel intermedio B2 del idioma inglés.
