We are currently recruiting for a Plumbing/Mechanical/Boiler Service Technician.

Payrate for a Class A Gasfitter Service Technician is $52.73 holiday pay for a total of $59.06 benefits)

Job function:

Quoting labor and material for all types of repairs.
Troubleshooting and repair heating systems (pressure and temperature issues) high-rise domestic water systems and domestic water steam and heating boilers.
Troubleshooting and repairing circ pumps for domestic water and closed loop. systems (changing couplers sealed bearing assemblies and amping pumps).
High-rise water and heating systems commissioning.
Installing repaining adjusting and commissioning all size pressure reducing valves.
Diagnosing cross connections for both hot and cold systems.
Troubleshooting of sump pumps experiencing issues. Set up float levels.
Replacing and troubleshooting of commercial storage tanks.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years experience as a Red Seal Service Technician
Class A Gassfitting Certification Required (however we may consider some Class B)
Cross connections (backflow) ticket preferred
Knowledge of how to drain and pre-charge expansion tanks
Knowledge of boilers
Basic electrical knowledge / troubleshooting skills
Clean Valid Class 5 drivers license
All employees will be required to obtain government security clearance
Hardworking/Reliable
Boiler high-rise building electrical or controls experience preferred
