Job Summary
Regal Rexnord is seeking an Accountant I who will be responsible for certain plant accounting functions. This role is responsible for executing the financial operations of the plant including reporting analysis and forecasting. The role requires strong analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively across different functions. This position will have reporting responsibility to the Manager I Accounting Assistant Plant Controller.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Manager I Accounting Assistant Plant Controller and Senior Manager of Plant Finance Operations in business partnership with the Plant Manager participating and providing insightful inputs
Prepare and analyze monthly financial results and key performance indicator reporting
Provide meaningful insights on variance drivers against prior year and forecasts and on plant performance that can drive actions to improve business results
Track trends and validate deviations identify risks and opportunities and drive mitigation actions
Assist in the development of financial plans budgets and forecasts
Maintain accurate product costing records and manage year-end cost roll up of new standards
Ensure accurate and timely recording of inventory transactions collaborate with the production and supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels and highlight and mitigate inventory reserve risk
Prepare annual operational budgets and periodic forecasts
Ensure compliance of reporting and internal controls with relevant accounting standards Sarbanes-Oxley requirements corporate policies and procedures and other regularly requirements
Assist internal and external audit during plant financial audits identify root causes and remediation plans for control deficiencies and track implementation status
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting required CPA preferred
Minimum two years of relevant and progressive finance/accounting experience
Strong working knowledge of ERP systems; experience with Oracle and OneStream is a plus
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Strong communication skills
Has a mindset of continuous improvement and can embrace Regal Rexnords 80/20 principles
Leverages analytical skills to effectively organize and translate data into insights for decision making.
Can manage multiple tasks simultaneously prioritize and direct work to meet deadlines with a sense of urgency
Mid shift (3pm to 12am); Hybrid setup of minimum 4x RTO in a month
