We are looking for a dynamic officer to join the RN People Policy Team working at the heart of the Deputy Director People Strategy area within the People and Training Directorate. This is a unique opportunity to influence policy and process that supports our people throughout their careers and ensures a positive appreciate transition when they leave the Service.
What Youll Do:
- Drive policy development for Holistic Transition and Veterans supporting JSP 100 BRd3 (1) Veterans Strategy and Project Valour.
- Champion initiatives that help personnel and families prepare for life beyond the RN ensuring they leave well and remain advocates for the Service.
- Engage with stakeholders across Defence contribute to tri-service policy and deliver innovative solutions to improve the lived experience.
- Support the development of the End-to-End Service Leaver process shaping best practice for application across the Royal Navy and other services.
- Manage a raft of communications channels and messaging on the 3 pillars of Holistic Transition.
- Work in an agile environment using Jira Scrum and Sprint methodology to deliver rapid policy improvements.
