Position Overview

As aSales Associateon the Inside sales team internallyyou will work closely with a talented group of leaders marketers and product specialists who have deep knowledge andexpertisein commercial real estate and digital marketing strategies.Externally you will play a critical role in growing CoStar LoopNet Digital Advertising revenue by selling advertising and marketing solutions to new customers and growing existing customer revenues by advising owners and brokers on the best ways to advertise properties online. Additionally you will ensure a high degree of customer service is applied to everytransactionand by doing so will build deep and lasting relationships with your client base. As a SalesAssociate you willbe responsible forowningthe entire sales cycle. We provide every new Sales Associatewith extensive training to ensure they are equipped withtheproduct and the industry knowledge they need to be successful.

Please note this role is on-site in our CoStar Group office inRichmond VA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Relationship Management Through consultative sales methods build relationships with clients to drive advertising revenue and become a trusted advisor on all matters related to their strategic marketing plan

  • Business Development Using CoStar Groups extensive property data prospect new clients to drive sales and close new business

  • Teamwork Partner with colleagues across the LoopNet and CoStar teams to drive sales revenue

  • Business Industry Acumen Develop subject matterexpertisein digital advertising strategies commercial realestateand your trends within your specific market territory

  • Customer Focus Develop strong client relationships by delivering outstanding customer support through regular value you added communication sharing market insights and offering solutions that help our clients achieve their goals

  • Build strong client relationships andprospectby conducting online meetings.

Basic Qualifications

  • Oneor more years ofsales experience preferably in web publications newspaper or magazine advertising salesor equivalent experience in the commercial real estate industry

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited not-for-profit in person University or College

  • A track recordofcommitmentto prior employers


Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of commercial real estate (CRE)

  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas

  • You are driven results-oriented love working with others to solve problems
