Job Summary
Our NielsenIQ technology teams are building new GenAI capabilities into our automation platforms. Our clients around the world rely on NielsenIQ data and insights to innovate and grow and we are increasingly investing in GenAI to enhance our products.
As a data engineer youll be part of a talented technology team that designs and builds scalable data solutions for our mission-critical applications. Our engineers are true problem-solversdeveloping robust data pipelines optimizing workflows and ensuring data integrity across a global platform. We leverage modern tools and frameworks to deliver high-quality secure and efficient data systems.
Our team is co-located and agile with central technology hubs in India US and the UK.
What youll do:
- Partner with Product and Development teams to design and implement data solutions
- Build optimize and maintain data pipelines using Python and modern frameworks
- Work with essential Python libraries such as pandas and Pydantic for data processing and validation
- Implement containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes
- Ensure compliance with corporate security practices and data governance standards
- Collaborate on CI/CD workflows using GitHub and GitHub Actions
- Design and manage databases preferably MS SQL Server and SQLite
- Explore and integrate Generative AI APIs into data workflows
- Utilize tools like GitHub Copilot to accelerate development
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues across environments
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- 1-4 years of experience in data engineering or software development
- Strong proficiency in Python with hands-on experience in building scalable data solutions
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and collaborative development practices
- Experience with containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
- Good knowledge of SQL concepts and database management
- Familiarity with corporate security standards and best practices
- Exposure to Generative AI APIs and modern AI-driven workflows
- Excellent English communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
- Experience using tools such as GitHub JIRA Confluence etc.
- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science or related field
- Enthusiastic about automation optimization and delivering high-quality data solutions
