Job Summary

As a Sourcing & Production Lead Assistant at COS you are responsible for supporting Sourcing & Production Lead in managing the end-to-end product merchandising process including work-flow administration sample follow-up and system maintenance.

You will collaborate across product team with Buyers Designers Production and suppliers to ensure the merchandising flow runs smoothly and efficiently.

This role reports to Global Merchandiser Manager with dotted line to Sourcing & Production Lead

What you will do:

  • Supporting the Sourcing & Production Lead throughout the end-to-end Merchandising process by managing timelines documentation approvals and ensuring smooth workflow administration
  • Securing on-time sample readiness by proactively following up with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Maintaining system accuracy and integrity by updating product data tracking progress and promptly resolving discrepancies to ensure product information is up-to-date and accessible for decision-making.
  • Ensuring clear communication flow between Buying/ Design/ Pattern/ Production and suppliers.
  • Working closely with Buying/Design/Pattern and suppliers as a team
  • Maintaining strong relationships and clear communication with suppliers to secure timely sample delivery and production execution.
  • Ensuring transparency in systems and collaborate closely with relevant production team members to secure a strong execution
  • Support a learn and adapt approach to the ways of working keeping product first and simplicity at the core.
  • Assist in executing and securing the merchandising workflow
  • Plan and prioritize effectively by managing clear timelines and trackers to keep the merchandising workflow organized and on schedule.
  • Communicate proactively with suppliers and internal teams to follow up on samples resolve issues quickly and prevent delays.
  • Leverage system tools to maintain accurate and up-to-date product data ensuring visibility and smooth decision-making.
  • Bring passion for product attention to detail and strong process management skills qualities that will directly contribute to your success in this role.

  • Prioritization skills to keep the merchandising workflow on schedule
  • Attention to detail by ensuring system accuracy and integrity by updating product data correctly and by spotting and resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Clear and proactive communication with internal teams (Buying Design Pattern Production) and suppliers
  • Strong relationship building to secure timely sample delivery and production execution.
