Job Summary
Description Of Job Duties
Assist incoming first-year students in their transition to college life by providing mentorship programming and opportunities to engage with other Premier Scholars. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in leading workshops activities and events during the summer component of the program and throughout the academic year. Serve as a role model and mentor to Premier Team Leaders and students in the Premier Scholars Program Demonstrate strong leadership to the North Central College community. Attend all required spring 2026 paraprofessional training sessions. Details of sessions will be provided by supervisor. Meet on an agreed upon schedule with supervisor throughout summer 2026 to assist in the planning and execution of the Premier Scholars Program. Assist with the summer 2026 Premier Team staff training. Assist in the oversight and support the Premier Team staff to help build a strong team dynamic.
Job Qualifications
Maintain cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.0 or above. Maintain a good student standing in terms of on and off-campus conduct. Confirmed plans for continued enrollment as a full-time student at North Central College for the 2026-2027 academic year. Show and articulate an appreciation of and commitment to diversity equity and inclusion. Demonstrate excellent social and communication skills. Ability to work in contribute to and lead a team-oriented environment. Genuine concern for incoming students transition to the North Central College community and sense of belonging. Must have previously served as a Premier Team Leader
