VP - Specialty Assets Manager

TheVice President Unique Assets Manager is a key executive leadership role responsible for overseeing the administration and strategic management of complex and non-traditional assets held in trust. These assets include real estate oil & gas interests loans promissory notes and closely held businesses. The VP will lead a high-performing team ensure fiduciary and regulatory compliance and deliver exceptional client service while driving operational excellence and innovation.

What You WillGetToDo:

Asset Management & Oversight

  • Lead the administration and strategic management of real estate oil & gas holdings loans notes and closely held businesses held in trust including day-to-day management valuation leasing maintenance accounting activities to disposition.

  • Ensure compliance with fiduciary standards regulatory requirements and internal policies.

  • Oversee day-to-day management valuation maintenance leasing accounting to disposition strategies for all unique assets.

  • Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Manage and mentor a diverse team of asset managers analysts operations and support staff fostering a culture of accountability and growth.

  • Drive associate development through coaching training and career pathing.

  • Conduct performance evaluations and implement improvement plans as needed.

Client Engagement & Retention

  • Foster long-term client relationships through proactive communication and personalized service.

  • Partner with relationship managers to deliver tailored solutions and ensure client satisfaction.

  • Resolve complex client issues with professionalism and strategic insight.

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Identify and mitigate operational legal and reputational risks associated with unique asset holdings.

  • Ensure audit readiness and support internal/external reviews.

  • Maintain robust documentation and controls to safeguard client and company interests.

    What You Will Bring:

    • Bachelors degree in business finance accounting or related field

    • Proven leadership experience managing teams and complex operations.

    • 10 years of experience in real estate and/or oil & gas asset management ideally within a trust or fiduciary environment.

    • Strong understanding of trust administration fiduciary responsibilities and accounting principles.

    • Exceptional communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.

    • Strategic thinker with a client-first mindset and a commitment to ethical standards.
