Associate Securities Finance Product
The Role
The individual will be part of a team that oversees the product development for the Securities Finance Principal business unit. The team is responsible for creating and executing initiatives.
Partnering with the business unit and technology to design innovative solutions that help grow the business and promote a stable product
Developing/creating business requirements including acting as a subject matter expert for technology during development lifecycle performing user acceptance testing and supporting production releases
Supporting the trading desk in a fast-paced environment including troubleshooting issues and acting as a liaison with technology/business partners
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Detail-oriented analytical thinker with a sense of urgency and ownership when addressing critical business matters
Strong organizational time management and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate and present complex requirements to a wide audience
Bachelors degree required and minimum 3 years financial services experience preferred
Technical or Securities Finance background preferred
Working with large dataset a plus
Knowledge of SQL a plus
Presentation skills a plus
The Team
The team interacts will all aspects of the business including but not limited to Technology Vendors Trading Operations Legal Risk and Compliance. The product development team works with all business partners to create new features and functionality to promote the growth/success of the business unit and Fidelity as a whole.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope geographic location candidates relevant experience and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
