Video Editorto elevate the quality of the final product.
Role OverviewThe Sound Engineer / Audio Editor will be responsible for transforming raw voice recordings captured during weddings into polished clear and emotionally rich audio keepsakes. This role involves cleaning up background noise enhancing sound quality balancing audio levels and assembling a smooth final track that aligns with our brands warm sentimental style.
We believe part of our team is based in Brazil and having someone from the LATAM region would be a great cultural and collaboration fitbut we welcome top talent from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities- Edit raw audio recordings from weddings for clarity warmth and consistent sound quality.
- Remove background noise echo and other interference while maintaining the natural tone of the speaker.
- Balance volume levels and apply mastering techniques to ensure a professional final product.
- Assemble individual guest recordings into a cohesive seamless audio experience.
- Maintain brand audio standards for consistency across all projects.
- Collaborate with the production and customer experience teams to align on expectations and turnaround times.
- Manage deadlines and deliver high-quality audio files within agreed timelines.
- Provide feedback on recording quality and suggest improvements to field teams.
Requirements- Proven experience as an Audio Editor Sound Engineer Sound Designer or similar role.
- Strong portfolio or audio samples demonstrating sound cleanup and mastering skills.
- Proficiency in audio editing tools such as Adobe Audition Pro Tools Audacity Reaper or similar.
- Excellent understanding of EQ compression noise reduction and mastering techniques.
- Ability to work with a wide range of voices and recording environments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality audio.
- Reliable remote work setup and strong communication skills.
- Bonus:Experience working with creative teams across LATAM or comfort collaborating with Brazil-based colleagues.
Preferred Profile- Culturally aligned collaborator ideally based in LATAM (but not required).
- A passion for storytelling through audio.
- Comfortable working with sentimental intimate and emotionally meaningful content.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with short turnaround times.
