Job Description
Under general supervision this individual will perform diagnosis troubleshooting and repair or replacement of all mechanical assemblies used in FLIR Thermal Imaging Systems products. This individual will help identify and select the appropriate tooling processes and procedures to complete any repairs refurbishment test and validation of work performed. Accurate and appropriate performance of these tasks will result in the successful repair and maintenance of these products
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Conduct routine diagnosis repair refurbishment service and support of mechanical assemblies sub-assemblies motors bearings and wiring harnesses for all FLIR Imaging Systems products.
2. Assist in developing standard repair and maintenance procedures which will be documented to company and ISO standards.
3. Provide technicalsupport in the development of customer service spare parts inventory including establishing requirements for content and quantity.
4. Provide accurate and timely repair estimates that include labor and material requirements.
5. Support the servicing of Imaging Systems demonstration equipment.
6. Perform other job related duties as required.
7. Work as a member of the service team to meet department goals related to repair turn times and customer satisfaction.
Job Qualifications:
Requires a minimum of 1-2 years prior work/schooling experience in a related electronics field.
Degree or certificate in electronics or equivalent required.
Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills proficient with using electronic test equipment required such as digital voltmeters to perform continuity of system wiring.
A good working knowledge of computers computer peripherals and programs such as SAP.
Must be able to read Schematics and wiring diagrams.
Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 45 pounds unassisted.
Must be able to solder 26Awg wires and 402 Smt components.
Preferred candidate will have 1-3 years prior experience servicing thermal imaging equipment.
Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen U.S. national legal permanent resident asylee refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including but not limited to location education/training work experience key skills and type of position.
