Job Summary

We are seeking an Assistant Logistics Coordinator to ensure the seamless delivery of our products. You will support our logistics operations by coordinating carriers optimizing shipping processes and managing details from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily shipments with carriers (e.g. UPS FedEx) to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Track shipments proactively provide stakeholder updates and troubleshoot delays.
  • Prepare and manage customs documentation to ensure compliance with international shipping regulations.
  • Support the filing tracking and resolution of freight claims with carriers and internal teams.
  • Review and reconcile freight invoices for accuracy resolving any discrepancies.
  • Address shipping-related customer inquiries via phone and email delivering prompt and professional service.
  • Generate accurate freight and dimensional estimates to support sales quotes and operational planning.
  • Identify and suggest improvements to shipping and logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with warehouse sales and customer service teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management or related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in logistics coordination shipping or a related role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn shipping software applications.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Enterprise Resource Planning) is preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds is required.
  • Comfortable working in both office and warehouse settings.

Working Conditions

  • This role primarily operates within an office environment but may involve occasional visits to warehouses or shipping facilities.
  • Regular collaboration with warehouse staff carriers and customers.
