Our Enterprise Data Office team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Taguig with the role of Data Governance Head.
In this role you will define implement and sustain the Banks enterprise-wide data and model governance frameworks by leading the creation of policies guidelines and procedures that ensure consistent governance across all data ecosystems. You will ensure regulatory alignment while driving business value through a strong culture of accountability compliance and stewardship.

What the role will entail
- Develop and maintain governance frameworks by defining policies guidelines and standards that align with evolving regulatory and business requirements.
- Lead oversight and compliance monitoring to ensure audit readiness manage escalations and enforce governance across data and model domains.
- Promote data culture and stewardship through training programs role enablement and initiatives that strengthen enterprise data literacy and accountability.
- Manage governance portfolios and budgets by planning executing and reporting on initiatives ensuring delivery and ROI to the CDAO and executive committees.
- Engage strategically with stakeholders by influencing senior executives collaborating with architecture and risk teams and representing the Bank in regulatory and industry forums.
- Support enterprise initiatives including innovation scouting governance tooling evaluations and participation in regulatory engagements as needed.
What were looking for
- Bachelors Degree in either Business Risk Management Information Technology Law or related fields; Masters degree preferred.
- Professional credentials in Data Governance Risk Management or related domains (e.g. CDMP CRISC CIPP) are advantageous.
- Minimum 12 years in governance risk compliance or data management including at least 5 years in enterprise leadership roles; proven track record in regulatory liaison and policy formulation required.
- Expert knowledge of data and model governance frameworks; familiarity with BSP AMLA and Data Privacy regulations; proficiency in governance dashboards metadata tools and compliance automation; experience in budgeting portfolio management and stakeholder reporting.
- Expert-level communication collaboration critical thinking responsibility and results focus; advanced strategic thinking problem-solving innovation and ability to sustain high-performing teams and build a strong governance culture.
