Job Summary

Are you looking to advance your career in healthcare pediatric therapy or healthcare

We are seeking an entry-level for a blended role of Therapeutic Assistant Paraprofessional and ABA Behavior Technician to join our team to support our therapeutic staff. The Therapy Assistant Paraprofessional and ABA Behavior Technician will join a team of therapeutic professionals including licensed social workers occupational physical speech and ABA therapists.

Mentorship and opportunities to observe therapy sessions as well as assistance with graduate school application process will be provided for our therapeutic assistant paraprofessionals. Over 80% of our Therapeutic Assistant Paraprofessional staff have been accepted into graduate healthcare programs!

Therapy Assistant Paraprofessional and ABA Behavior Technician Education Requirements

Bachelors degree preferred

BACB RBT 40 hour Credential required

At least 60 semester hours of college credit or successful completion of a paraprofessional exam

Willingness to obtain a paraprofessional license

Experience working with children is a plus

Full time Availability (40 hours/week; Monday-Friday)

Blue Bird Day is an intensive therapy program for children with autism ADHD and other developmental disorders. Our therapies are offered in a preschool-like setting but instead of teachers our classes are run by therapists. Our collaborative team provides occupational physical speech developmental ABA and other therapies to help our clients reach their unique goals. We have locations in Chicagos West Loop and Northcenter neighborhoods and in Wheaton and were growing!
