Commis II

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Commis II to join our culinary team in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. As a Commis II you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items according to recipes and chef specifications
• Organize and maintain cleanliness in the assigned work area
• Operate various kitchen equipment including braising pans baking ovens stoves grills microwaves and fryers
• Prepare ingredients by portioning chopping and storing food items
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food production
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards in all kitchen activities
• Support senior kitchen staff in daily operations and special culinary events
• Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
• Contribute to menu development and implementation of new dishes
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout service periods

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary diploma preferred
• 12 years of experience in a highvolume kitchen or fullservice hotel
• Proficiency in basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
• Passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering highquality dishes
