Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Assistant Stewarding Manager to join our team in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Stewarding Manager in overseeing the daytoday operations of the stewarding department ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness hygiene and organization in our establishment.

  • Assist in managing and coordinating the stewarding teams daily activities and schedules
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations maintaining a clean and sanitary environment
  • Oversee inventory management including ordering supplies and equipment as needed
  • Conduct regular inspections of kitchen areas storage facilities and equipment to maintain cleanliness and functionality
  • Train and mentor stewarding staff on proper cleaning techniques safety procedures and company policies
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest experiences
  • Assist in developing and implementing costeffective strategies to optimize resource utilization
  • Respond promptly to any issues or emergencies related to stewarding operations
  • Participate in the recruitment performance evaluation and professional development of stewarding staff
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as required by management

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 35 years of experience in stewarding or related hospitality roles
  • Previous supervisory or management experience in a hotel or restaurant setting
  • Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)
  • Food Safety Certification (e.g. ServSafe)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems
  • Indepth knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
  • Fluency in English; Arabic language skills preferred
  • Thorough understanding of hospitality industry standards and best practices
  • Expertise in cleaning and sanitation procedures
  • Proficiency in inventory control and cost management techniques
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays as required
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting standing for extended periods and moving around the facility
