Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning:

  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop project budgets.
  • Create financial models and forecasts to support project planning and decisionmaking.

2. Budgeting and Monitoring:

  • Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets.
  • Identify and communicate any significant budget variances.
  • Work with project managers to address financial issues and optimize resource allocation.

3. Financial Analysis:

  • Conduct financial analysis to assess the profitability and financial health of projects.
  • Provide insights into cost drivers and recommend costsaving measures.

4. Reporting:

  • Prepare regular financial reports for project stakeholders.
  • Communicate financial performance risks and opportunities to management.

5. Compliance:

  • Ensure that projects adhere to financial policies regulations and accounting standards.
  • Assist in internal and external audits related to project finances.

6. Forecasting:

  • Develop and update financial forecasts based on project progress and changes in scope.
  • Anticipate and communicate potential financial risks and opportunities.

7. Collaboration:

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including project managers procurement and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

8. Advisory Role:

  • Provide financial insights and advice to project managers and leadership.
  • Assist in decisionmaking by offering financial perspectives on various projectrelated matters.

Requirements

Qualifications for Project Finance Analyst

7 years experience in Financial Analysis & Planning with a focus on Project Management

Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel PowerBI or SQL a must

Thorough understanding how to drive project profitability overseeing Invoicing Calculation of Change Requests and Penalties Cost Management incl. procurement and time & attendance

Strong negotiation skills and understanding of underlying contractual basis

Good communication (written verbal presentation) skills

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office products such as (Project PowerPoint Excel Visio)
