Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and resultsoriented Business Development Manager to join our clients team in the food industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our market presence by developing strategic partnerships and identifying new business opportunities. This role requires a strong understanding of the food sector excellent communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy focused on financial growth and customer satisfaction within the food industry.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify new trends customer needs and potential markets for expansion.
  • Arrange and conduct meetings with prospective clients to promote our food products and services addressing their specific needs and objectives.
  • Prepare and negotiate sales contracts ensuring compliance with legal and company guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities revenue and client interactions using CRM software.
  • Provide exceptional aftersales support and feedback to clients to ensure satisfaction and foster longterm relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including marketing and product development to align strategies and enhance product offerings.
  • Mentor and develop entrylevel staff into effective sales professionals.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar sales role within the food industry.
  • Strong sales track record with demonstrated success in achieving targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce).
  • Strong analytical skills and market knowledge specific to the food sector.
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Sales Marketing or a relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in customer support or account management within the food industry.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
