Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk Manager to join our team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. As a Risk Manager you will play a crucial role in identifying assessing and mitigating risks across our organization ensuring the protection of our assets reputation and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies and policies aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and analyze potential threats to the companys operations finances and reputation
- Create and maintain a dynamic risk register regularly updating and prioritizing identified risks
- Lead risk workshops and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate potential risks
- Develop and implement risk mitigation plans and contingency strategies
- Monitor the effectiveness of risk controls and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions
- Prepare detailed risk reports and dashboards for senior management and stakeholders
- Provide expert guidance on risk-related matters to various departments and project teams
- Stay updated on local and international risk management standards regulations and best practices
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations
- Contribute to the development of a strong risk-aware culture throughout the organization
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Risk Management Business Administration Engineering or a related field; Masters degree preferred
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in risk management with at least 5 years in a senior risk management role
- Professional certifications such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Proven expertise in risk identification analysis mitigation planning and monitoring
- Strong understanding of performance-based contracts and risk allocation strategies
- Proficiency in risk management tools and software (e.g. Primavera Risk Analysis Active Risk Manager)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Strong leadership and communication skills to influence and drive a risk-aware culture
- Experience with financial risk assessment and management
- Knowledge of local and international risk management standards and regulations
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian business practices and regulatory environment
- Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills highly desirable
