Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding on various types of pipe materials such as stainless steel carbon steel and alloy materials.
- Prepare pipes for welding including cleaning beveling and fitting.
- Inspect and ensure the quality of welds for compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints welding symbols and technical drawings.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with other team members and report progress to supervisors.
- Ensure all work meets or exceeds customer expectations and complies with relevant industry codes and regulations.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pipe Welder (TIG) with a solid understanding of welding techniques and processes.
- Certification in TIG welding (e.g. AWS ASME) is highly preferred.
- Experience with a variety of materials including stainless steel carbon steel and alloys.
- Ability to read and understand welding blueprints technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail quality and precision in welding work.
- Good physical condition and ability to work in challenging environments (e.g. confined spaces elevated platforms).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols
