Job Summary

This is a remote position.

Design and Implement Networks: Configure and install network devices and services (e.g. routers switches firewalls load balancers VPN QoS) for onpremises and cloud environments.

Cloud Integration: Develop and manage network configurations within cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud).

Network Maintenance: Perform maintenance and upgrades including service packs patches hot fixes and security configurations.

Monitor Performance: Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability across onpremises and cloud environments.

Troubleshooting: Provide Level2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve network issues.

Security: Implement security tools policies and procedures in conjunction with the company s security team both onpremises and in the cloud.

Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations processes and procedures.

Collaboration: Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

Experience: Proven handson network engineering experience including experience with cloud platforms.

Skills: Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g. IPSEC HSRP BGP OSPF 802.11 QoS) solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model handson experience with network monitoring diagnostic and analytics tools.

Certifications: CCNP or higher (CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued) certifications in cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.

Desired Skills

Experience with network performance monitoring and optimization across hybrid environments.

Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.

Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Proven hands-on network engineering experience, including experience with cloud platforms.
