Job Summary

Girls Make is a summer innovation program funded by Chevron The Human Energy Company that empowers girls to pursue their interests in STEM. Through Maker Education methodologies and Digital Fabrication techniques the program equips participants with the skills needed to bring their ideas to life.


We are currently seeking enthusiastic coordinators to support weekly sessions and assist both the girls and instructors throughout the program. Positions are available in two locations: Ismailia and Asyut.



RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Understand the programs mission vision and objectives.

  • Utilized strong organizational skills to maintain project sustainability and efficiency.

  • Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders including parents girls and external partners to facilitate collaboration and engagement.

  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment by promoting open communication and teamwork.

  • Collaborate with the technical coordination team to maintain and manage the projects inventory effectively.

  • Participate in weekly meetings with the education team to provide logistical feedback and contribute to program improvement.

  • Demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to make informed decisions to ensure project success.

  • Coordinate machine usage with the fab lab team and technical coordination to optimize resources and meet program needs.

  • Ensure that classrooms are wellprepared with necessary equipment for each session and maintain a smooth user experience for participants.

  • Work closely with the technical coordination team to coordinate and procure materials needed for each session ensuring timely delivery and availability.



Requirements

  • 12 years of experience in project coordination education programs or community initiatives (volunteer or professional).

  • Demonstrated organizational skills (e.g. managing small projects events or team tasks).

  • Experience communicating with diverse groups (parents students partners etc..

  • Ability to collaborate in teams with examples of past teamwork.

  • Familiarity with inventory/logistics support (e.g. tracking materials assisting with procurement).

  • Participation in meetings with feedback contributions.

  • Basic coordination experience (e.g. scheduling resources supporting technical teams).



Benefits

  • Youll join the team on a parttime basis from July to September 2025.

  • We will also require the coordinators support on a task basis before the official project period between May and June.

  • The salary range is 7500 EGP 8500 EGP depending on the applicants experience.
