Job Summary

This Secondary School is seeking a committed Sociology Teacher (ECT) to begin their teaching career from January 2026.

Sociology Teacher (ECT) required from January 2026.

Ofsted Good secondary school with a strong post-16 provision.

Seeking an ECT to teach Sociology at KS4 and KS5 supported by experienced mentors and a collaborative Humanities department.

You will deliver engaging Sociology lessons covering key theories research methods and contemporary social issues while developing strong classroom practice.

Experience and Qualifications

QTS or pending QTS
Degree in Sociology or related subject
Strong communication skills
Willingness to engage fully in CPD

Salary

Paid to MPS (ECT scale)
