Job Summary
This Secondary School is seeking a reliable and organised Science Technician to support high-quality practical science teaching from January 2026.
Science Technician required from January 2026.
Well-regarded secondary school in Nottingham with modern science laboratories.
You will support the delivery of Biology Chemistry and Physics across KS3 and KS4 preparing equipment setting up practical experiments maintaining stock levels and ensuring health and safety procedures are followed. The role involves working closely with teaching staff to support engaging and effective science lessons.
Experience and Qualifications
Previous experience as a Science Technician or in a laboratory setting (desirable)
Strong organisational skills
Knowledge of health and safety procedures
Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Salary
Paid to local authority support staff scale (dependent on experience)
