Senior Business Development Professional Speaking Engagements & Experiential Leadership Programs

Our client leverages a signature in-house experiential methodology designed to transform how leaders teams and individuals connect and ideate. Through immersive experiential sessions advisory services and keynote speaking engagements our client partners with corporations government entities institutions and organizations seeking innovative leadership development and inclusion solutions.
We are seeking a Senior Business Development Professional who will lead efforts to identify engage and convert high-value clients for speaking engagements experiential sessions and advisory services.
Role Overview
This role is ideal for an experienced business development leader with a strong network and demonstrated success selling professional services keynote speaking or consulting. You will build a high-impact client pipeline and grow our presence with companies universities nonprofits and government entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify research and secure new clients including corporations universities NGOs event organizers and government institutions.
- Create and implement business development strategies aligned with each clients needs.
- Develop tailored outreach and pitch materials to compellingly position the In the Dark and/or advisory services.
- Cultivate relationships with decision-makers (e.g. DEI leaders HR executives event planners C-suite stakeholders).
- Manage sales pipelines drive leads to conversion and close contracts for speaking In the Dark and advisory engagements.
- Collaborate with internal team to coordinate scheduling contracts and engagement logistics.
- Attend team meetings and contribute revenue growth insights market feedback and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications- Proven success (37 years preferred) in Business Development Sales or Account Executive roles in consulting training leadership development DEI corporate services or speaking industries.
- Strong network and ability to build relationships with executive-level decision-makers.
- Exceptional communication presentation and negotiation skills.
- Self-driven entrepreneurial and able to work independently in a fully remote results-driven environment.
- Experience selling keynote speaking consulting DEI leadership development or learning & development services is highly desirable.
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Communications or related field is a plus not required.
