POSITION DESCRIPTION
The candidate will provide technical expertise and support for ongoing projects and system support tasks assigned to the SC Department of Social Services Server and
Cloud Services Administration unit. This position will work for the manager of that team and the Director of Network Operations and Data Center services and with the
Agency infrastructure server and database teams. This position will consult with Agency management technical and development teams to design and achieve secure
stable and responsive systems and services with a goal of improved system availability and performance for Agency customers both internal and external. Candidates will work in a large state agency deploying maintaining and securing the cloud storage MS365 and Azure services supporting critical state and federal programs. Position will work closely with staff and Microsoft partners to improve service outcomes and compliance with security and performance requirements. Candidate should have a clear understanding of the Microsoft cloud computing services that include networking storage databases servers and software in the cloud.

REQUIRED SKILLS (In order of importance):

2-4 years of experience Azure Cloud and Virtualization; Microsoft 365 Office 365
2-4 years of experience MS Active Directory
2-4 years of experience knowledge of open-source frameworks such as
2-4 years of experience in PowerShell.

PREFERRED SKILLS (In order of importance):
Datacenter and network infrastructure experience.
User and group management authentication and security policies (GPO).
Familiarity with JavaScript HTML5 and SQL Server.
