Job Summary

Job Title: Databricks Architect

Location: Dallas TX - Remote

Duration : Contract

Role/Responsibilities

Lead the data solutions stream within the program ensuring timely and quality delivery of data components.
Oversee the development and execution of data solutions ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure end-to-end data solution integration.
Create and maintain essential project documentation including solution design interface contracts data model design and technical documents.
Provide guidance and technical advice to the development team ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
Manage stakeholder expectations and act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders development teams and external partners.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to refine requirements identify risks and address technical challenges.

Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Requirements

Subject Matter Expert (SME) level experience in Cloud Engineering specifically with Databricks Azure Data Factory Data Lake Delta Lake and UnityCatalog.
Proficiency in Python Spark and PySpark programming.
Expertise in Azure Data Factory Azure Databricks Azure Synapse Analytics Azure DevOps and Azure Storage/Data Lake.
In-depth knowledge of data architecture ETL processes data integration and business intelligence tools.
Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving data initiatives in large-scale projects.
Excellent communication leadership and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical skills attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
Mandatory Requirements: Databricks- Azure Databricks Azure DevOps

OTHER REQUIREMENTS (OPTIONAL)

- Databricks Certified Data Engineer certification.
- Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer certification
