This position is responsible for providing expert assessment treatment consultation planning and leadership oversight for optimal lactation management in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
For patients with advanced lactation support needs will formulate an interdisciplinary plan of care and communicate with the care team related to these goals and plans.

8hrs non-billable orientation
Holiday and OT Multipliers - 1.25%

1 years experience as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (BCLC) - Equivalent Certs NOT accepted
A MINIMUM of 2500 hours as a breast-feeding consultant REQUIRED
Experience with inpatient lactation programs required
Outpatient prenatal and postpartum lactation education consultations and/or teaching experience required
Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred

Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment
