What youll be doing.

The Health & Safety Coordinator is required to assist and support in the development and execution of the health & safety and security agenda for the plant focusing on continuous improvement of health & safety policies and procedures injury prevention safety management plant security crisis management and compliance with all applicable Federal and local health & safety compliance obligations. Must be local to Appleton WI - no relocation offered. Your day-to-day may consist of:

• Ensures compliance with all applicable safety regulations and company policies through daily monitoring and activities.
• Conducts regular safety inspections audits and assessments of facilities and equipment supporting corrective actions and improvements.
• Analyzes safety data incidents and injury trends to identify opportunities for training behavioral change and workflow enhancement.
• Assists in investigating workplace incidents and supports the development of preventive action plans.
• Delivers health & safety training maintains required documentation and reports and collaborates effectively with teams and committees.

This role works in a manufacturing environment with potential exposure to loud noises strong odors temperature fluctuations moving machinery wet or humid conditions hazardous chemicals high or confined areas extreme temperatures and vibration throughout various facility areas.

What youll need to be successful.

• Associate degree or bachelors degree required; A focus in health and safety strongly preferred
• At least 3 years of Health & Safety experience required
• ISO Management Systems experience is preferred
• Professional certifications such as CSP ASP or accredited Health & Safety Certification preferred
• Maintains a continuous learning mindset and adapts quickly to new equipment processes and roles.
• Demonstrates strong technical ability with a digital-first approach embracing new technologies and accurately entering data.
• Communicates clearly with all levels of the organization follows instructions (written/oral/diagram form) and completes necessary documentation independently in English.
• Consistently brings a positive team-focused attitude to work.
• Demonstrates adaptability technical proficiency analytical ability and problem-solving skills while working independently or collaboratively to ensure effective and logical decision-making in diverse situations.
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills time management and the ability to handle confidential information with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Is goal-oriented with a desire to drive change and maintains high standards for visual and operational quality.

Compensation Package:$58800.00 - $78500.00 . USD annually Bonus eligibility

The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience skill set education and training and other organizational needs.
