DescriptionJOB TITLE: Member of Technical Staff
SALARY: $125000 - $163000/yr
JOB LOCATION: 9660 SW Herman Road Tualatin OR 97062 (Must appear in office 4 days per week; WFH permissible 1 days per week)
DUTIES: Designs and analyzes mechanical systems equipment and packaging. Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs. Directs support personnel in the preparation of detailed design design testing and prototype fabrication. Estimates equipment and labor resources required to manufacture new products. Participates in customer design reviews and proposes design changes to the customer. Drives industrialization projects to restructure and redesign next generation semiconductor tools into mass production assemblies. Contact suppliers and participate in the development of new technologies to support the increasing technical requirements of the Semi-conductor industry. Must appear in office 4 days per week. WFH permissible 1 days per week
REQUIREMENTS: Masters degree or foreign degree equivalent in Engineering or related field and three (3) years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering or in the job offered or related role.
SKILLS: Experience and/or education must include the following:
- Translation of customer requirements to a functional product while collaborating across multiple departments.
- DFx (Design for Manufacture/Reliability/Quality/Maintenance/Testing/Cost/Sustainability) to understand how designs are translated into Manufacturing Execution Steps transact through work centers and breakdown into sub-assembly kits;
- Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning and Agile to draft accurate and effective Engineering Change Orders that follow all company and customer design requirements;
- Failure Mode and Effects Analysis for new designs using FMEA framework to review new designs and propose solutions to mitigate failure modes;
- Python and C Programming to translate Bill of Material formats;
- Team Leadership and Project Management over small teams to complete cross function Kaizen projects in aim of optimization of design and manufacturing; and
- Quality Control within Corrective Action/Preventative Action (CAPA) projects to address part and process failures.
