Available Shift: Monday - Wednesday 6am-7:30pm (Temp) Monday - Friday 6am-2:45pm (Perm) and Monday-Friday 2pm-10:45pm (Perm)
Wage: $30.90/Hour

We are looking for an experienced Dockmaster to join our team in Downtown Seattle on a temporary assignment. As a Dockmaster you will be responsible for managing access control monitoring incoming and outgoing freight and deliveries coordinating with tenants and vendors and ensuring the safety and efficiency of operations at the loading dock area. This role requires attention to detail strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

What Your Day May Look Like
- Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
- Monitor and control access to the loading dock area.
- Conduct patrols inside and outside the clients premises in various weather conditions.
- Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
- Identify and report safety issues hazardous conditions or any suspicious activity.
- Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents emergencies or security investigations.
- Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
- Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Position Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED required OR ability to complete GED program within 6 months.
- 1 year of customer service and 1 year of security experience required.
- Intermediate to advanced computer / technology skills needed.
- Customer service background preferred.
- Prior Security Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!
- Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
- Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout the shift.
- Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation measures.
- All candidates must be willing to participate in Securitas pre-employment screening process including drug screen and background investigation.
