We are currently recruiting for Carpenters - ticketed or non-ticketed - local to the Whitehorse area. Reporting to the Site Superintendent the successful candidate will be a team player exemplify our core values and have a strong commitment to site safety. Perks include a full benefits package an RSP program and an Employee and Family Assistance Program.
What were looking for:
- Minimum 3 years technical and trades experience
- Commercial residential and industrial construction experience
- Well-versed in all aspects of carpentry - exterior/cladding concrete framing
- Great work ethic and attitude with a willingness to help out in all areas
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Understanding of modern construction practices and construction documents
- A strong safety record
- Ability to work with a variety of individuals and work in a team
- QA/QC
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Must have or be willing to obtain the following tickets: Fall protection WHMIS 2015 Scissor lift and Level 1 First Aid
