Type: Contractor - Onsite
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM-4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Safety Requirements: Steel-toe shoes required
Summary
The Storeroom Attendant / Kitting Technician is responsible for supporting daily receiving stocking issuing and inventory control tasks at the customer site. The role includes verifying materials assembling kits accurately handling forklift operations and maintaining a clean and organized storeroom environment. Strong customer service and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Kitting Responsibilities

Use sit-down forklift to move incoming parts from dock to kitting area.

Verify received items and compile kits accurately and efficiently.

Ensure all kit components are correct and complete before issuing.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitting area.
Storeroom Responsibilities

Unload receive and store incoming materials tools and equipment.

Inspect received items check for damage and verify quantities against invoices.

Sort label and store items in racks shelves or bins following established sequences (size style product codes).

Issue tools equipment and materials to employees and document all transactions.

Enter stock information into inventory systems and maintain accurate digital records.

Assist with cycle counting and inventory level management.

Investigate misplaced items and maintain accurate storage locations.

Assist with minor tool/equipment maintenance (cleaning inspection lubrication).

Deliver tools/equipment to job sites when needed.

Maintain a safe clean and organized storeroom environment.
Job Qualifications
-
Minimum 3 months of relevant warehouse or material handling experience.

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).

Experience in loading unloading picking packing or warehouse operations.

Forklift or cherry picker experience preferred.

Ability to read and interpret work orders safety rules and procedures.

Basic computer skills (MS Office Vista Control SX.e Prophet 21 preferred).

Basic math skills (addition subtraction multiplication division).

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail and strong safety awareness.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and perform physically demanding tasksstanding walking bending kneeling climbing etc.
