DESCRIPTION:
Youll be part of our EHS team at Thermo Fisher Scientific where youll maintain workplace safety and environmental compliance. As a Lead EHS Technician youll collaborate closely with the Site EHS Manager to implement and oversee safety programs conduct facility inspections and support a culture of workplace safety. Youll coordinate emergency response initiatives manage hazardous materials and contribute to continuous improvement in our EHS systems. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on workplace safety while supporting our mission of enabling our customers to make the world healthier cleaner and safer.

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 4 years of relevant EHS experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment
Preferred Fields of Study: Environmental Health & Safety Environmental Science Industrial Safety or related field
Strong knowledge of EHS regulations standards and compliance requirements
Experience conducting safety inspections and identifying workplace hazards
Ability to lead and participate in incident investigations
Proficiency in developing and delivering safety training programs
Experience with hazardous waste management and chemical safety protocols
Strong project management and documentation skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Experience with safety committees and emergency response teams
Ability to work with contractors and vendors
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS management systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
Additional language skills welcomed
