About the role:

Boston Scientific seeks a dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives within Finance. The initial focus of this role will be spearheading the Finance communitys responsibilities as we deploy a new ERP system for our largest US legal entity Boston Scientific Corporation. This exciting role is ideal for an agile motivated professional with strong leadership skills and a proven track record of managing complex cross-functional projects who is eager to advance Global Finance and enterprise priorities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate and manage all business-side activities related to the rollout of SAP S4 HANA within Finance for the Boston Scientific Corporation legal entity.
  • Drive project and program management activities including timelines deliverables risk management and executive communications.
  • Facilitate workshops and lead cross-functional problem-solving sessions to mitigate identified risks driving alignment and action across diverse stakeholders.
  • Manage and improve critical business processes with an emphasis on efficiency scalability and measurable impact.
  • Proactively foster relationships at all organizational levels and partner with senior leaders to drive meaningful outcomes.
  • Act as a bridge at the intersection of diverse finance and accounting groups to ensure successful adoption of new processes and methodologies.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Engineering or similar.
  • 10 years of experience in complex cross-functional project or program management roles. 8 years of experience with relevant graduate degree.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and leading process improvement efforts.
  • Experience working in large matrixed organizations preferably in medical device or related industries.
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g. MS Project Smartsheet Miro etc.).
  • Previous Finance experience as demonstrated by work experience in Finance Accounting Shared Services etc.; MBA or similar graduate degree; and/or substantial project or program leadership experience with Finance as a key workstream (ex. integrations).
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Preferred qualifications:

  • Project management change management process improvement and/or problem-solving certifications (ex. PMP Prosci Lean Six Sigma etc.).
  • Significant experience leading initiatives at the intersection of Finance and other functions (e.g. Finance IT Finance HR).
  • Comfort with ambiguity; skilled at project scoping and problem-solving to meet internal customers needs; proven ability to work through roadblocks
  • Ability to effectively manage a broad portfolio of competing projects and priorities.
  • Highly collaborative; wins trust and earns respect at all levels of organization.
  • Influences effectively without authority and manages senior-level stakeholders
  • Learns quickly; willing to delve deeply into project details.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated proficiency to effectively distill complex topics to enable prioritization and decision-making.
  • A demonstrated desire and commitment to meaningfully contribute to organizational culture.

Maximum Salary: $243000

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) see vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training pertinent education including licensure and certifications among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly) non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g. any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for exempt non-sales roles may also include variable compensation i.e. annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
