Description
As a Locum Anesthesiologist you will play a critical role in providing high-quality anesthetic care to pediatric patients. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the safety and comfort of patients undergoing various procedures.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Monitor patients vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary
- Collaborate with surgical teams to develop anesthesia plans
- Conduct pre-operative assessments to evaluate patient health
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
- Provide post-operative care and pain management
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families
- Stay current on advancements in pediatric anesthesiology
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Anesthesiology
- Experience in Pediatric Anesthesiology is preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong commitment to patient safety and care quality
- Current medical licensure to practice in Lebanon
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7a-4:30p
No call requirement
Routine pediatric ambulatory procedures to complex surgeries in children of all ages
Must be comfortable with adult cases as well
Supervision Model: 1:2 or 1:3
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
