Job Summary

At Haris&Co stories drive everything we do. As a Social Media Content Writer (Reels Scripts) youll be the creative spark behind short-form content that grabs attention entertains and converts.

Your role will focus on writing scripts for Instagram Reels TikToks YouTube Shorts and other social-first formats bringing ideas to life in 3060 seconds. Youll translate brand objectives into snappy hooks engaging dialogues relatable scenarios and creative storytelling tailored for fast-moving platforms.

Working closely with strategists designers and the production team youll brainstorm script and fine-tune ideas that resonate with target audiences while staying on top of trends and platform best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Write scripts for Reels TikToks YouTube Shorts and other short-form content.
Develop engaging hooks dialogues captions and storylines that align with brand objectives.
Brainstorm creative ideas in collaboration with strategists designers and production teams.
Adapt scripts to suit different tones witty educational trendy or emotional depending on brand needs.
Research trending audio formats and cultural moments to build platform-relevant content.
Ensure scripts are clear shoot-ready and production-friendly.
Work with production teams during shoots to ensure script execution matches intent.
Write captions call-to-actions and micro-content for posts when needed.
Maintain a content pipeline aligned with monthly calendars and campaign goals.
Stay updated on social media trends viral formats and storytelling techniques.

Requirements

13 years of experience in content writing for social media advertising or entertainment.
Strong creative writing skills with a knack for short catchy and engaging copy.
Ability to write conversational dialogues and relatable storytelling.
Familiarity with Instagram TikTok YouTube Shorts and short-form trends.
Basic understanding of social media strategy and audience psychology.
A strong sense of humor wit and cultural awareness.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Bonus: Experience in performing acting or content creation (helpful for testing scripts).

Required Skills:

Proven experience as a Writer Director or Content Creator in an agency or digital content setting. Strong understanding of storytelling for short-form video (Instagram YouTube Shorts TikTok). Ability to conceptualize and execute scripts quickly while maintaining creative excellence. Experience directing on-set with models actors and production teams Familiarity with camera work lighting and editing basics. Excellent communication collaboration and leadership skills.
