What you will do:

Our General Managers (GM) are an integral part of the team who providean exceptionalexperiencetoeach and everyguest.The General Manager executes all company programs supports the operation of the businessmaintainsrevenue and payroll budgets and meets budgeted productivity while keeping quality and service consistently high. It is important for the General Manager to have both a vision and the ability tomaintaina culture of hospitality and positive morale and a focus on building their team complement through regular coaching and feedback.If you thrive in an energetic fast-pacedand social atmosphere this may betheopportunity for you!

In this role your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Plan evaluate andmonitoroperations merchandise and financial areas within multiple departments to maximize sales and profitability through the efficient execution of Company programs and the maintenance of Company standards.

  • Interview recruittrainandcoachvenue management and proactively plan for succession.

  • Conduct regular meetings with Department Managers to provide feedback setgoalsand evaluate performance.

  • Understand and implementappropriate disciplinaryaction for performance and behavioral management.

  • Manage sales staffing and operational budgets and plans to ensure profitability.

  • Share Best Practices across departments to increase performance levels and guest satisfaction.

  • Manage the inventory and shrinkage of all departments.

  • Investigateand actionthe causes of staff concerns.

  • Maintain a working knowledge of all statutory regulations affecting restaurant health andsafety andensure that any safety hazards are identified and rectified.

  • Achieveoperationalobjectivesof all Cineplex areas by preparing and completing action plans implementing productivity and quality measures and standards of service.

Qualifications:

This role may be a perfect fit for you if:

  • You have a minimum of 4 years experienceas a manager in the restaurant or service industry with proven experiencein staff supervision and field operations.

  • Youdemonstratestrong communication(oral & written) organizationmanagementand leadership skills tolead a theatre team in a positiveenvironment;

  • You have excellent problem solving and troubleshootingskills;

  • Youhave the ability toprioritize and managemultiple activities attend toemployeesdevelopment while continuing tomeet financial targets and reporting responsibilities;

  • You have a flexible schedule that includes eveningsweekendsand holidays.
