About the Role

As a Staff Engineer Software you will be instrumental in the technical evolution of the Nautilus Laboratory Informatics Platform. This role provides an outstanding opportunity to successfully implement innovative technologies while ensuring that we meet our customers ambitious needs for scalability performance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Involved in all phases of the software development cycle from building to implementation and unit testing.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver flawless software products according to schedules and specifications.
  • Build essential documentation such as specifications architecture diagrams and design documents.
  • Actively engage in Agile ceremonies including daily standups planning and review meetings.
  • Address and fix support calls promptly.

Requirement and Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Agile development methodologies (Scrum)
  • Experience developing technical specifications based on customer requirements
  • Proficiency (C#)
  • Knowledge of Oracle and PL/SQL
  • Familiarity with code version control tools (preferably Git)
  • Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in Spanish and English
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality work under time-sensitive conditions

Preferred skills:

  • Knowledge of C
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and SharePoint
  • Familiarity with writing code alongside automated tests
