Basic Job Functions:
The role of theProduction Manageris to be an active member of the Divisions Leadership Team in taking care of our customerswhile leading their locations manufacturing efforts. The Production Manager is expected to safely lead and direct all operations related to the on-time fabrication and shipping of high-quality insulated metal panels. This role will be responsible for building mentoring and developing a high-functioning cohesive production team. As an engaged member of the division leadership team the Production Manager will collaborate with NIPG management teams to develop and execute on the business strategies including quality cost productivity profitability and commercial excellence. The Production Manager will need to personally demonstrate the values that make upNucor Culture.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of all aspects and departments of a manufacturing facility.
- Leadership experience in manufacturing
- Willing and able to travel with short notice
- 3 years of Supervisor/Management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Insulated Metal Panels
- Experience in Metal Building industry and/or generic construction
