Job Summary
The Laborer/Molder is responsible for performing a variety of duties to support the foundrys direct labor operations. This position involves creating and forming sand cores and molds used in the production of metal castings. The role requires attention to detail physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Daily tasks include cleaning and smoothing molds packing sand into mold sections assisting with pouring molten metal operating machines positioning workpieces and ensuring product quality.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
The Laborer/Molder supports foundry production by preparing forming and maintaining sand molds and cores used in metal casting. This role includes operating molding equipment packing and smoothing sand assisting with pouring operations positioning workpieces and ensuring finished-product quality. The position requires physical stamina attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Working Conditions
Work is performed in a noisy industrial environment with frequent exposure to fumes and airborne particles. The role involves working near moving mechanical parts and operating heavy equipment and tools. Laborer/Molder and foundry duties are physically demanding and include repetitive tasks performed under varying weather conditions.
