mix of a ds/qr/aspiring pm.
idea - instead of being a sector ds covering a pm they would focus specifixcally on building and trading t hose signals based on alt data. its the closestish to mw who have quantimental researcher.

you will have capital carved out ready to deploy. if u r a rockstar sda at citadel.
our qr can teach them the systematic exp if need be
they need to understand alt data and dig into that data to add value

nc up to 1 yr.(GQS no good)

mid to snr level. need a hands on person and can eventually move to a player coach. overtime we want them to be paid off pnl
1st yr guarantee high 6 figures or 1 mm and change.

we r doing really well w systematic stuff

alan - left samelin capital - we almost hired him but he didnt pass the tech stuff at the end.

comp sci or math or stats would be ideal.

challenge- have to have good intuition for investmentsand have ideas how it can be expressed.

must have buy side exp.

report into josh as part of the DS team nut we are part of the business so the reporting strucuteredoesntmatter as much. its a mix between his QR and DS team.
