We are seeking a talented and motivated Quantitative Researcher to join our team and contribute to the development of sophisticated analytical models that support strategic initiatives.
Position Overview
The Quantitative Researcher will play a critical role in analyzing complex datasets developing predictive models and generating insights that influence key business decisions. This role requires a strong foundation in mathematics statistics and programming along with the ability to translate technical findings into actionable recommendations.
This position offers flexibility with full-time and part-time opportunities along with a hybrid work environment that combines remote and in-office collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and implement quantitative models for forecasting optimization and risk analysis
- Analyze large structured and unstructured datasets to identify trends and patterns
- Apply statistical techniques machine learning algorithms and data mining methods
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analytics engineering and business units
- Translate complex analytical results into clear actionable insights for stakeholders
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and modeling frameworks
- Evaluate model performance and continuously improve methodologies
- Conduct research on new quantitative techniques and industry best practices
- Prepare reports dashboards and presentations to communicate findings effectively
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or higher in Mathematics Statistics Economics Finance Computer Science or a related quantitative field
- Strong programming skills in Python R or similar languages
- Experience with statistical modeling machine learning or quantitative analysis
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and libraries (e.g. pandas NumPy scikit-learn)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters or PhD in a quantitative discipline
- Experience working with large-scale data systems or cloud platforms
- Familiarity with SQL and database management
- Knowledge of financial modeling forecasting or optimization techniques
- Prior experience in a research analytics or data science role
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $165000 $185000 per year
- Annual Bonus: Typically 10% 20% of base salary
